A signal is an event, change, or pattern that may need attention. The console has a Signals area; generation is not live.

Coming soon. Today, use Search, PolyMonitor watches, and keyword or category alerts. Do not wait on a signal object to start monitoring.

Intended flow

Raw data → processing → signal → intelligence → action

When signals ship, they will sit between monitoring and automation so workflows can react to derived events, not only raw item.created.
