Connect a source

Connecting a source is the first acquisition step. Have the feed URL, listing URL, or API endpoint and credential ready.

Before you begin

• RSS: the feed URL itself, not the site homepage.
• HTML list: a section index that lists article links.
• API: a saved news-provider key under Developer → Integrations.

Basic process

• Open Console → PolyFeed → Sources.
• Select Add source and choose RSS, HTML list, or API.
• Enter connection details, language, category, and poll interval.
• For HTML list and API, run Test fetch before save.
• Save, leave Active on, and watch the first poll.

After connecting

Confirm the source is active, items appear under Feeds for that category, and Activity is not repeating the same error. If nothing arrives, check the URL, credential, format, and plan item cap.
