Market Intelligence
Six MI capabilities on PolyFeed sources — ingest and search today; detection later.
Market Intelligence (MI) is a product line on PolyFeed Sources — not a separate BI or analytics dashboard. You acquire news, filings, and company pages the same way as News sources; capability and optional labels describe why you connected each source.
Today: poll, normalize, search, Feed API, keyword/category alerts, and Automate workflows on item.created. Entity/event/signal labels are saved on the source for intent; automatic classification is not live yet.
Six capabilities
| Capability | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Lead Intelligence | Track target accounts and buying motion from news, filings, and company pages. |
| Competitive Intelligence | Watch competitors for launches, pricing, partnerships, and leadership moves. |
| Company Intelligence | Follow one company across multiple connectors with a shared entity label. |
| Industry Intelligence | Monitor sector publications and hubs for funding, regulation, and product news. |
| Government Intelligence | Track tenders, RFPs, regulation, and public-sector announcements. |
| Sales Intelligence | Spot market and pricing shifts that affect pipeline and territory planning. |
How to configure
- Console → PolyFeed → Sources → Market Intelligence.
- Add RSS, HTML list, or API — same types as News.
- Pick a capability. Events and signals prefill from use-case defaults; edit the checkboxes to match your watch list.
- Optional: entity name and type (company, market, person, …) and comma-separated topics.
- Save, wait one poll, then use Search, Feeds, alerts, or workflows — not an analytics chart.
Act on data — not dashboards
MI is designed for Acquire → Intelligence → Automate. When detection ships, saved events and signals on a source will drive structured signals; until then, keyword alerts and workflows on ingested items are the honest path to action.
